Zenoah G-62 with 1/4 scale DHC-1 Chipmunk partial kit
A co-worker gave this to me when he left town but I can't finish it, I'm more into RC boats anyway. It is a De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk trainer, wingspan 8.5 feet, fuselage 6 feet long.
Here's what I have: The fuselage is FG construction, some cracking but intact and definitely repairable, the wings are foam core, balsa shell. I'd say they are 90% complete, the cockpit is built, it has a windshield and nose cowl. no rudder or tail wing. OFFERS? 1 Zenoah G620PU engine, ran before stored, needs spark plug boot $200 SOLD!!!! 1 12V handheld starter works good but needs a switch $57 shipped to US 1 Zinger 22x12 wood prop, excellent cond. $10 1 ATC 22x10 aluminum hub/ gray nylon? blades $10 1 Futaba FP-T6NFK control/receiver and 6 servos( maybe 8?) OFFERS 1 quart on board fuel cell aluminum camping bottle style $10 1 air tank $5 1 Aluminum motor mount, won't fit the motor without modification $10 Assorted hardware, servo repair kits, servo horns, nuts/ bolts, hinges, tubes wires, hose, balsa wood, etc. OFFERS I'm taking reasonable offers on the whole package or would part it out, or maybe you have a weedeater powered boat to trade? I'm in British Columbia, about 500 miles north of Vancouver, BC. I'll try to get some more pics of the wings, fuselage, windshield and cowl posted tonight, and, as stated in the title, this is a partial kit that still requires a lot of assembly, the wings are maybe 90% built, but the plane as a whole is far from built, as the pics will show. Thanks for the interest.
Everything is still available, some interest in the motor and starter so PM or post up if you want them. |
