The maiden went well today...documentation earth date pacific standard time July 21st 2012 11AM in the morning.
CG is found to be 2 inches forward of the rear landing gear from edge plating. Canards enabled. Fan motor used http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=19634 generates 1500watts....on 6s2500mah's turnigy nanos.... excellent flight and float characteristics used turnigy plush 80A esc, with power disabled in place for hobby-king ubec 5A external. Implemented 4000uF capacitors to help furthermore prevent brownouts on spare rx channel. Its been since December 2011 which is when I first assembled her for this maiden to happen...the Journey has finally been a success. |
