You should maybe update the title of this thread, I thought it was all over, and people were still reminiscing when it popped up, eventually though it got hard to ignore, so thought I would check in, and I have missed a great deal.

I remember following it when I first joined RCG, that would have been the first year. So only about 5000 or so posts to go.

Frank, as I recall, the plane has a Speed 400 motor, right? We still on the original motor?

Ed,that is correct. She uses an old school brushed speed 400 motor. We are on our second motor due to the first one's prop shaft getting bent and losing sufficient thrust.

I just listened to about 1/2 of episode 15. I never realized that this is still the continuation of the 2008 start. I doubt I will get a chance to listen tonight, but I assume it will be available later?

Have you thought at all about the squirt coming to the great white north once you finish in America?

It is nice to be able to put a voice to your posts.

Well, the SQuiRT is now in the hands of pilot #325. Jim and I made the handoff this evening so with any luck, he and the rest of the Propbusters will get a good flying day in the near future. Good luck!

Got an email from Pilot #325, Jim T.

Made our first attempt at flying the SQuiRT today. The Propbusters gathered for a fun fly, but the South Dakota winds were about 10-15 MPH. We will try again on Tuesday.

He also sent an awesome photo.

Great news. Got this email from Jim.

Finally!

We managed to fly the SQuiRT today, but had to do it the South Dakota way. With winds blowing 15-25 this whole week and gusting towards 40 today, I took the plane to our scheduled indoor fly at South Middle School Community Center in Rapid City. There we put 3 indoor flight on the SQuiRT with three pilots: Zac R, president of the Rapid City Propbusters, Josh F, president of the R/C Aces and me. It was great fun.

I have a ride for the box to Pierre on Monday. I will make arrangements for it to get to Rodney or Bob.
