Thank you all. He was one of my special ones. They are all loved but there is all ways one that steals your hart. I still cry every time I think of Patches, now I have to add another.

I am very sorry for your loss Gill.

Here a little picture of Dumpster the Newbi and my old cat Mustard, 18, Roadside was snugling on her place, she is now geting 14.
Coldest night of the winter, last Saturday, -25 and 30 miles wind.
I always love to see how my animals, what ever they are, come to gether and in the end support each other.
Over the last months I have got a new Barn Cat. He/She is rather beautifull, a black Panther with white tussels in the ears.
He/She adopted my barn and watches me and my dogs every day when I go out and feed the horses or repair cars and farm machines.
I put a feeder out with cat food, its is a wild one, hardly eats the cat food, rabbits and mice are the staples.
First he/she ran away, but now is watching every move, big eyes and responds to the call. I love stuff like that.
I have to take pictures.

Again THANKS ALL. We always said that MIt's read Patchs book and added a few pages. Now I have 3 that are adding more pages. Penny makes sure that I go to bed on time. Lucky and Coal make sure that I'm in bed, and Egypt sleeps in Mits spot, unlike Mit's he stays the whole night.

So cute, we had the same thing here Ginger a lab-shepard mix and Patches a 7 lb cat grew up together and were sisters. 3 weeks after Ginger passed Patch let go.
I did a new picture of our CREW only missing 2 Colette & Ciro.

I always thought that the kitty's thought the dog growling was purring and the dog thought the purring was wimpy growling.

You can say that again.
One of my newest is a 30 lb mush. He loves to snuggle and has the weirdest purr that's extremely loud. It starts as a low rubble and rises. Brrrripp. The happier he gets the higher the pitch at the end.

Hi Tachikaze, this guy is Ozzy, an Asian ( Sumatran ) Jambi, they are specialists in fishing !
He is not going to the Amazon, only maintaining his skills at home ( not mine ).

About this beautiful ( and VERY dangerous ) Cat, I want to say I am in no way an advocate of the introduction of animals like this one into "civilization", though raised from a Kit to be "tame", he is ultimatley unpredictable and if he got out, alot of small dogs ( and kids ! ) could be at risk...
Great whites arent meant to be in aquariums...

What a great looking cat. Does he do the head butts and rub up against the hooman?
I was God Father to a friends Serval, he was a great cat. Taught him to catch and retrieve, loved to hunt gold fish in the kiddie pool. My friend is a 5" brunette ( think Eva Longoria) and one of the cats favorite things was to hide and pounce on her. Since he weighed in at 45lbs and stood a good 25" at the shoulder, he could easily take her 5' / 95lbs frame down. And like you said, as cute and cuddly as he was, if he got a little excited with the pounce on the hooman thing, he would start to get a little aggressive.

My Cat

Here is my "house cat", he is kept inside AT ALL TIMES, we had to move from Oregon because he got out once ( remember those two twin 5 year old boys that disapeared from the reservoir one day ? not a trace ever found...)...

His name is Momo.

He is seen here having just been released from his enclosure.....

I agree, the ferules I work with can get very nasty. I have one right now , not a feral. Phil is a big boy and at 30 lb will knock you in to next year. He just hates other cats, buts likes to cuddle. So some times I get caught in the middle.
Pre Phil, I had my face and lip split open during the night. Due to an argument. Very rude awaking and 8 stitches and these were not feral. They both had been with me for over 6 years.

Found this on pet talk, thought the cat people would like it.
I answered yes to all:

Are you a cat addict?
1. Do you, or have you ever owned a cat(s)?
2. Have you felt like you are the pet?
3. Do you spend more time playing/cuddling with your
cat(s) than reading a book or watching TV?
4. Does your cat(s) eat better than you?
5. Does your cat(s) furniture look nicer than the
people furniture?
6. Does your cat have more toys than you do?
7. Do you spend more on the cat toys and food than you
do on treats for yourself?
8. Are your cat(s) considered family members with
complete voting rights?
9. Do you move over at night so the cat(s) have more
room in bed?
10. Have you bought/considered buying a bigger bed so
the cat(s) have more room?
11. Are nose prints on windows a permanent fixture?
12. Do you/have you ever gotten down on all fours and
batted a cat toy to entice your cat(s) to play?
13. Do you mimic the meows and purrs of a cat?
14. Can you purr while inhaling and exhaling?
15. Do you refer to yourself/spouse/partner as
Mommy/Meowmie or Daddy?
16. Do you refer to your cat(s) as "furbaby" or
"furkid"?
17. Have you ever moved for the comfort of your
cat(s)?
18. Have you chosen a spouse/partner based on your
cat(s) recommendation?
19. Have you ever just watched a sleeping cat(s)?
20. Have you ever gone to the store to buy a necessary
item such as toilet paper, shampoo, etc., only to find
yourself driving away with cat toys, having completely
forgotten why you went in the first place?
21. Have you ever changed your sleeping habits or
positions for the comfort of your cat(s)?
22. Have you ever found yourself sleeping in the exact
same position as your cat(s)?
23. Have you ever rearranged the furniture so that
your cat(s) have better access to windows?
24. Does your collection of cat-related books,
magazines, or videos take up an entire bookshelf/case?

25. Is the cat theme a primary decorating technique?
26. Have you ever caught yourself bird-watching with
your cat(s)?
27. Is cat hair a major food group?
28. Have you ever opened a can of cat food and thought
"that smells kinda good"?
29. Do you like cats better than most people?
30. Do you feel guilty if you go out to eat and not
bring back something for your cat(s)?
31. Do you spend more on your cat(s) than on yourself?

32. Have you turned the TV to an animal show so your
cats can watch?
33. Do you spend more time on cat-related chat boards
and pages than anywhere else?
34. Do you read snippets of cat magazines or books to
your cat(s)?
35. Are cats the most fascinating creatures on earth?

Add up all your YES answers to get your cat-itis
score!

8 or less: You have caught the bug, but are still
relatively sane. Just give it time.

9-16: You have a mild case of cat-itis. Seek no
medical treatment; there is no cure. Now is the time
to begin playing with cat toys and seeking new toys
around the house. Work on that meow, the tone is
slightly off.

17-26: Your condition is severe. Cats have a firm hold
on your life. This is the point where anything cat is
more interesting than people. Your purr may still need
work though.

27+: You are now an honorary cat, you may groom
yourself when and where you please. You have the purr
and meow down pat. It is not unusual to find yourself
thinking as a cat.

Like I show in 921, in no way am I an advocate of introducing Any wild or non-indigenous animals to foriegn environments, its not meant to be.
Remember last year when some guy with a "personnal" zoo released lions, tigers and bears - then killed himself ? very sad and very selfish thing to do...
As we allow each state to define its own laws for having these exotics, it can easily go wong.
On the other hand, it does provide for sanctuaries for victims of human folly.

Is Jambi one of these http://www.savannahcatbreed.com/breed-info/jambi-cat

It looks like they are a hybrid of domestic and wild, with probably the worse of both.

Gerald.

Looks like a crossbreed, originally east Indian, likely more dangerous than ever now.
The subject in the pics I posted reports to live in Russia.
The article you have shows these "dealers" live in Illinois.
I hope they fail, these animals can Never be truly happy or comfortable living in a house.

Snow was forcasted, just not that volume and duration. What was suppose to be a trace ended up to 7" at my house. Walked to work on that day, took me an hour to dig out the driveway to get to work the next day. Still have small pockets without power. Snow was very wet and heavy, brought down a lot of trees.

Love the CAT BOAT. That's why mine are NOT allowed in the shop. The last thought it would be a good idea to lay in a freshly painted 1/10 Lambo body. I have kept it as a reminder. Black cat and pearl white paint DO NOT mix and hair can not be removed from paint. Was a birthday present for the wife and it was her cat (Missy). Had to get a new body and finnish it in less then a week.

Wow, a remote control cat that can see in the dark complete with manual. Good deal.

The manual was missing and the remote doesn't work, but she does see well in the dark and is good at mousing. She feels that every box that comes in the house belongs to her and she has to check them out.

Wife has a Shi Tzu and he is really flaky when he first gets trimmed here he is in his normal modes, before (armored with hair and master of all he surveys ready to bark at everything) and after (freezing and hiding out so stays warm).

Okay, equal air time for some dogs here.
This is Ginger sporting her brand new out of the box doggie diaper in a luscious lime green! Unfortunately with time comes a little change in the internal plumbing. But hey, she made it to 16 before needing one of these
I'm almost 41 and I never stopped making a mess in my drawers.
Hey, I love chili, what can I say!?

Where dat Canary I ordered?

He came from ex GF that wanted to get rid of him because he has seizures. Have not witnessed one since I have had him. He has lost some weight, not sure if there is anything wrong with him, or if it is because he has to contend with two other male cats in the house and spends a fair amount of time wrestling.

WE have four dogs (or do they have us) we take to them to a local drive in when we go for a drive two of them (the two youngest) do not know that you can EAT THE CONE on an ice cream cone! They will lick the cream and leave the cone. The other two better count your digits when they start on an ice cream cone!

Thanks for fostering and welcome to my world, it's never ending.
This baby was just tossed in the hall, when the people started to move. The neighbor is the contact, I hope that she calls back soon.
