Botijo,
The scan came from the original construction article - same as yours. I just happen to have software that allows me to scan to full size then invert, rescale to actual size if necessary, despeckel, adjust line weight etc. I forgot to mention, the initial scan is monochrome - 2 bit - line art - black & white. (Goes by many names) Gene |

Is the build article the single page shown a few posts back? Any chance of a higher res copy please nicely?

GeeW,
There are several pages and I haven't taken the time to scan in the rest. Give me a week or two for I like to OCR the text to create a word document etc. This all take me time but the result will be high res with photos as a PDF file. Gene |

Hi,
I did not realize what I was getting into - I just thought it was a pretty - my o my. I lied, decided to get the construction artical out of the way so that I can play with other things. So - here is the text. Now your really going to go back to the 60's! Gene |

Actually I have a flower sticker somewhere fromt the 70s, need to find it. Going to try a 8x4 trimmed to 7 nylon prop on it and to keep it more original going to fly it also witha wooden 7x4 non electric prop see what happends.

Harder to find, but there are wooden E series props.
Glow style wood props have thick, inefficient (relative to the electric) airfoils. If all else is equal they are heavier and draggier, pulling more watts at the same RPM. You can recarve the back side of a glow wood prop to turn it into an electric prop... but its a lot of work and easy to ruin a prop. |

Dave:
Is a very different looking plane, flys good and faster than the GL or similars. Building the wings is easy, the tail no problem. The fuselaje takes more work but is fun. I made mine in one pice and just scrapped off the foam (the grren stuff from the flower shops) thu the wing opening.. Wings come apart in two and is easy to carry around except for the part that with the enfine pod the fuselaje by itself will not stand up right for a second. |

That was a blast from the past. The gentleman that inked the plans was Chuck Bedwell a former member of the Illinois Model Aero Club from Chicago. That really took me back! Thanks.

Ok final results, prop changed to a cliped slow flight 9/4. Battery changed from a 20C 2200ma (6oz) to a 15C, 1350ma (3oz). Prop looks like the blades of a C-130, much lighter with the new battery and fanilly pulling some Amps out of that motor, 6.4 now compared with the 2.4 original amps. Nice little flyer, gets lot sof attantion form all the foam guys. Might make a new plane and this time put flowers on it
