I would like to take credit for it, but I'm sure that I must have read about it from another member that came before me.
Since the E-Zone forums get purged every so often, I will include a separate write up on this when I submit my article about my foam plane.
Until then, here are a few threads where I talk about this method.

Thanks Dave, just what I was looking for.I've taken my foam wing and really sliced it up. Have cut openings to simulate ribs and spars but have not decided how to do spar reinforcement. Thinking about letting the silkspan carry the load. Not looking for any aerobatics out of this corsair, just to see if it will fly slow and relaxed. I think it will come in around 12-14 oz. overall depending on power system. Thanks again
