Congratulations for a nice accomplishment.

I do not have the proper computer to see the model in the first video. Only at the last two seconds did I see a very small hint at the airborne model.

In the second video I was able to see the model only at touch down on the runway.

I have only a 19 inch (diagonal) monitor and a 3 gigahertz CPU system. Not good enough to see things properly.

Great job so nice to see your efforts come to a wonderful first flight. I'm in the process of getting a used trainer to give me a bit more experience before I attempt to tackle the RV, including setting up the engine, servos etc. So not as much haste finishing the model at the moment. I've completed the fuse and ready to put the tail feathers on.

Can you clarify why you were unable ot fly with the cowl. I did see in previous pics a hook up for the plug , Did that not work? I thought that was a great idea to not have to put another hole in the cowl.

I put a Remote plug, but in the field when electric is connected the engine goes fine, but in the moment i disconnect elect. the engine dies, in any case I'm not sure if really is Remote Plug the problem, cause the engine is still in Break-in Area and after disconnecting the remote plug, i continue to fine tuning the carburetor, and forgot to try/check again if the remote works, next week in free days I will go to fly again and recheck the remote issue, and inform you with the new findings.

Today Second day of flying , The Remote plug issue was the engine, so it's working, today after finishing fine tuning the engine finally I installed the cowl back, some pictures taken by the wife , no videos this time.. the RV-4 no need flaps for landing, but with flaps she lands very soft and very beautiful!!!
The Aluminum landing gear it's too soft, one not so harsh landing and it bends, so in the next week I will mod that and post some pics, also I need and recommend you guys to reinforce the inside of the wheel pants with some fiberglass.
