Jeff, I'll take some close up pics and measurements tomorrow. It is too late for me to climb the stairs to the R/C room tonight...

Dang I went up there last night to do a little work, and forgot all about it. I even sat there for about 10 minutes trying to remember why I wanted to go up there... I must be getting old.

Oh well. I promise I will get you some measurements tonight...

Ok, add one more to the list that will walk into the shop with the intention to do something cool, only to get distracted and get there and scratch head wondering what the heck was I going to do?!?!

Thanks for the pics!! That should do it. Are you guys using a part of a Slow Stick fuse for the motor mount and center part? That first pic looked like a fiber stick 10mm style from a SS. Just curious if they differ and if that would be allowed?

Diggs, the motor mount is a piece of die cut lite ply that gets epoxied to the front of the plane. It is almost exactly like the one used in the H-L yak foamy that they sell for about $20.

The rod through the "spar" is a hollow CF rod that is about 3/8" dia.

Jeff, I'm sure Mac will ship you one if you want it, Someone on here or Wattflyer bought one and had it shipped to them, I just can't remember who..

Here are some pics of my combat-weary plane. I seem to have lost the other pieces somewhere, but I am sure I can find them. However, if I wanted to, it would fly like it is now.

I like the King of the Hill in the background .

A word of advice, if you paint your combat plane up in UGA colors, it wil get destroyed. Jeffs plane is proof of that

Hodges has shipped the combat planes out before. Give them a call, I am sure Bill and Mac can take care of you.

That design/plane belongs to my buddy here in EVV, He ships them to MAC 25-50 per case.

IF interested you can get them @ www.gwsprops.com

The foam only with plywood motor mount AND c/f tube is only $10, a complete airborne flight pack minus battery is $50.

PAck includes brushless motor/ ESC/ 2 servos.

Completely built and rigged just at RX and battery and GO FLY price is $80.

He has built almost 500 RTF and sells them at swap meets.

We use them locally and put ripstop nylon fabric on them to make them bullet proof.

He is planning on selling @ SEFF and has his bid in on a table.
