Works well....I've had it on my nextar a few times and it was nice. Usually I have it on a PZ t-28 and it also does just fine on it. If you are interested in strapping a camera to your plane I highly recommend it. I haven't tried anything else to really do a good comparison but I think it's worth the price.......my .02 cents....

MUNKEY99999,

Yes I did install STK02H 2.0.exe first but I don't think I re-started the computer after it. I'll give it a try.

Hey thanks, that worked. The firmware is now updated.

Anyone else having an issue with the audio leading the video? I thought it was the cheap SD card I was using but I put a SanDisk Ultra II card (10MB/sec, I think) in and there was no change. I've yet to try it with the firmware update. So, Maybe that fixed it.

from my raw videos the audio seems spot on. When I decode it that's when the audio gets messed up. VLC player wont even play the raw videos.

My guess is that its an encoding problem.

Audio doesnt matter to me though because I strip audio and place music over it.

ya windows media player works alright. Classic media player plays it well. VLC doesnt play it worth sh**t in Windows. VLC in linux is absolutely supurb at playing it.Seriously huge difference.

Then you have the movie player for linux. Crappiest software ever. But the glitch for video looks awesome. Colours are so messed up that it looks something like Alice in Wonderland or something.

Just 2 different programs trying to decode the video different and it's beat up.

Ofcoarse the screens are crap because I did a quick crap to .gif from a video.

Wow, what a difference.

Like you, I'm not looking for high end video. Just a fun toy to play around with.

Forecast here in London, On. is for 25 degrees C and sunny today. You guys in Windsor always seem to get a few extra degrees. Good day to go out and try it.

I'm using this cam on a 3D Extra 330, and I just wanted to say that it's a smart idea to mount the camera by screws; tight aerobatics at high speeds is too much for velcro! believe me, you don't want this thing to fall off the plane!

Has anybody had trouble with the FCO2 staying on its mounting bracket? There doesn't appear to be anything other than friction holding it on, which can be a real problem for RC helicopters especially. I have the little thread loop that came with it but there are no instructions on how it's supposed to be used.

Charging question. Does the FCO need to be turned OFF or left ON when charging the battery via USB? I know that some other devices that use the micro lipos are usually turned off, but I can't tell if it is charging or not.

Either way. You'll be able to tell it has been charging because it will be warm when you pick it up.

If you can flash the latest firmware on the flycam to the latest it even tells you how charged the battery is.

Close this window!

4. Start the program FlyCamOne2_update.
