Cessna 172 Skyhawk

Hello,
I´m Raphael, from Brazil and this is my cessna 172 from guillows plans.
Flyies perfectly, and, believe or not it weights only 235g (8,4oz) ready to fly .
Kit wood was not used; I made all the parts with light balsa, changed the wing ribs profile and the cabin (didn´t like that plastic cabin from guillows)
This is the result: the plane flyies perfect and the only problem are the landings; this airplane doesn´t descent when I move the throtle full back because it has an incredible lift rate. I guess the use of flaps would solve this "problem" .
Features:
4 chanel with steering wheel
Motor brushless 2204-14 with 10amp speed and 7x5 master airscrew prop.
900mHa Lipo batery (30 minutes flying with 1/3 throtle)
4 x servos 3.7g
Futaba 2.4ghz custom receiver
Microlite covering
As soon as I have videos I´ll post on youtube
Hope you all like!
Regards!

Cessna 172 vídeo

Hello,
That´s the video:
Cessna 172 Skyhawk Guillows Flying (1 min 55 sec)

Weather condition was sucks; lots of down winds and turbulence. To improve my dad is an expert on camera and some @#*& birds was trying to destroy my plane.
When I have a better video I´ll post.
Hope you like
Raphael

guillow's kit #402 P-51 Mustang

Hello, I'm new here and new to building model planes. I recently purchased this model and have been working on building it. Does anyone know what size motor should go in one of these?

B-17

Here are some shots of a B-17 I attempted only once to fly. Will probably make some modifications to and try again this summer.....

I managed to find some very thin light balsa at the local hobby shop....don't remember what the AUW is, but was very light. Did not use any spars. Just use .3mm birch strips around formers...

I am going to attempt to put the B-17 in the air again. Can anyone suggest a good CG for this thing?
