lipo shield
does the lipo shield supersede an esc's built-in lvc settting?...

It will if the ESC setting is lower than the liposhield setting. If they're similar they'll both be active.

how about this...can i use lipo shield to run 4 cells thru an esc that only auto detects up to 3 cells?...

As long as the esc will handle 4s in other respects, absolutely.

I run lipo shields on all my older esc's.
It is very cost effective, and the device is bullet proof. This is a great product and VERY under rated. Its self configuring, with positive feedback to the operator and works with all my models. I run ESCs with 2S to 4S with no issues. I wish other things worked this well. NO. I am not related to the company. In fact, I just ordered 5 more today. I was think of upgrading my older Jeti's and Hacker ESC's but this gizmo, at $20 was the easy upgrade. |
