Can anyone tell me if any other heli's parts are interchangeable with the HBFP? Specifically I want to know from the swashplate through the head. I broke one of the balls on my head in my last crash. I'm trying the CA + thread + more CA, but the ball doesn't feel solid to me. I ordered a couple more heads this morning, but I've already gone through two heads now and if there is one from a company that'll last longer than the ESky part I want to get it.

Same thing goes for the Y-shaped part that the head snaps onto. I've only broken one of those, but they are very expensive ($7) compared to the other plastic parts.

How are the deal extreme 900mah lipos in a HB? I got a few of the crap batch and looking for alternatives.

blade cp tailblade,boom landing gear,and batt trey can be used on the fp, may be other parts that i have not used.

As popular and fast growing as the HBFP threads have proven to be, we (the forum) should setup sub-forums/threads within this thread to point people towards an area of the heli they are seraching for info. about. You have to admit, it's really tough and time consuming to search through all the hundreds of pages looking for specific info.

Just a thought

any 90 degree swash plate that fits the shaft and the links should work on the hb fp.

They are fine. I have several that I got a little over 3 weeks ago. All of them have the model # ending in HHH. As long as you dont have defective ones they are fine. They are not as good as the Xtreme ones but those cost a lot more.

Thought I may as well post this here too, HBFP model for RealFlight, flies pretty well.

I downloaded it from somewhere so it's not my own work but I modifed bits of it to make it fly a bit more true.

This is based on the 370 motor and 910mah lipo.

I have an 'extreme' HBFP for Clearview.. with superskids/LiPo/stronger motor (i.e. slowmax) that flies great! Definitely a (bit) more like the real deal. I'll add a picture here later.

Wren, is there anyway to make sub-catagories so the thread is easier to navigate? Stuff like, MOTOR MODS, SKIDS, BLADES, BRUSHLESS, ETC., ETC.
