You guys seen the P3 Flit yet?

The Flit is the most exciting release in the history of Phase 3. With so many innovative and unique features, Flit is really something VERY special. And it's tiny with only a 14” wing span and weighing under 6 grams – completely ready to fly! The Flit is powered by a geared micro motor and featherweight carbon-fiber propeller that provides so much thrust you can almost hover!

Flit includes a 3-channel proportional controller with built-in flight battery charger, aluminum carrying case, carbon-fiber propeller, and tiny 30 mah Li-Po battery.

The Flit - finally a true home-flyer that is durable, affordable, fun, and ready to fly right out of the box.

$139.99

how about replacement parts? Are they available? What does the TX look like? Not enough info available for me to consider it seriously.

Looks like competition for the excellent Carbon Butterfly....but much cheaper. I wonder how it will stack up?

I am impressed with the Phase 3 EDF-16 but IIRC, they don't necessarily design the models they sell so I don't know how relevant that info would be.

The Infa Red control kills it for me. Also, no mention if the controls are proportional or not.

i've been waiting and watching to see when they actually become available. note the online page indicates "on backorder". the latests i've heard says March (just a few days, heh)

it does say the controls are proportional (or at least, "the controller" is, heheh)

14" is kinda bigish....the AA is 9" right?...What about the nano hawk wing.

Of course I know two wings = more wing area.

I also do see this type of plane (similar as some Plantraco desighns) flying at less than walking pace with GREAT authority.

I just re-read first post....and this is 3CH!!!...and similar to plantracos price I see.

I will also presume this is NOT a toy???

Looks ok, I wonder how the parts pop off and if any wires might get broken?
Are they saying the actuators are proportional also?

This got a very good review in the latest issue of Backyard Flyer. It was designed by Didel in Switzerland. Unfortunately, so far, at least in North America, it's been vaporware.
