Not much help, but I just got done reading the december mag...1st time I ever saw it and you can color me impressed! You guys across the pond have a good mag going there! I love the plans they have on dec's page 84 for the HD rapide/dragon...I believe those will have to be sent over my way soon-lol. Page 35{dec} has the "radio warm"...that looks pretty useful as well...

Hi Bill,
I got mine about a week ago (I think!).
Perhaps a call to Traplet is in order.

Mark.

Got mine just before Christmas too. I was really looking forward to the Hurricane plan but it's a real disappointment. Only 25" span for a Speed 400 on 6 cells. Why bother ?

Got mine today.
It might be interesting to compare the performance of the "Excel Competition 2" with the "Floh". Jürgen

Isn't OEFI printed in the UK? I've had my copy here in the states for a couple weeks.

Thank you Jurgen,

I had a customer phone about a power system for Excel, but he bought an AXI 2820/10 along with a Filip 600 Sport instead.

I bet the Excel is just as good as the 600 Sport - just £65 more by the time it's made it to the UK through Germany

Look forward to meeting you on the circuit again this year.

John

Hi John,

With its MH43 wing section, I bet the Excel Competition 2 could literally fly rings around the SD7037 equipped Filip 600.

The Floh and the Filip 600 are probably more in the same class. Jürgen

Yes, when I saw the Floh, I thought, oh no, another Filip 600.

The 400 Sport turns out to be MH32, that and the huge ailerons make it a good fast aerobatic model. The 600 Sport certainly retains the SD7037 root section of the 600 thermal, but the rigid foam wing of the Sport makes an excellent aerobatic model, and I found it 's handling to be fantastic from nose down going as fast as it could to inverted, and a nice slow landing - a little like slope soaring off the flat, but doing aerobatics going up! Perhaps I should suggest your name for the review - it comes with an AXI

Have a great day
