Tam 1/12 scale F-16 Question
Dear fellow edf nuts,
I just got my main and front gear installed. My question is about the power system. I am sure I want to go with a 8S setup about 3700 mah or so because the packs could be used in T-rex 500. I like the looks and esp the price of the new midi fan, but want to spend a little money on the motor then. My question is will the Neu motors 1515 1.5 Y 5mm shaft thin case work on the wemo midi fan on 8S ? The Neu motor has a Kv of 1500 and the mega 22/30/3 has Kv of 1270. Tam said that the mega with the midi was about 1500 watts. I saw another member make a post about a medusa 1600 Kv motor on 8S in midi and he said just over 2 kilo watts. Want to get something ordered soon. Does anyone know of good electronic airvalve for small retracts ? Is the jetronics one way overkill for a jet like this?
May just put the servo and mech valve in then. Will a balanced midi fan hold up to the neu motor on 8S with some proper throttle management?

You need a two way valve for this retract.
The new Spring Air Mechanical valve works great and is cheap too.

the new midi fan? lol seriously, I'm pretty sure though you can still get the 5mm prop shaft from wemo for a nue install. And Roberts right, nice mech valve is all you need. And call Tam too, he has these micro valves that are cheap and work great. He has them adjustable or you can use the small adjustable break one for an easy pipe and go. And if your doing doors dont forget to get a micro switch for up action.
