I have a DX6i so no issues there. Still not too sure, sbach is another option. Can it fly slow and scale?

You should look up the videos on you tube and go on the umx beast thread. it can fly pretty slowly, but it can't really hover all that well. if you go on the umx beast thread, everyone will tell you how great this plane flies.

Yeah I've heard great things, I'm just not sure if it'll be too much to handle, especially since its my second micro.

i flew the beast after flying the micro t28 and parkzone p47 and corsair and umx extra 300 once and on low rates i was able to fly it pretty well. on my second flight, i started out on high rates and did not realize how fast it was, it got too far away and i could hardly see it. it crashed and the fuselage broke but was fixed with some epoxy. now it flies great and i haven't had another bad crash. you should probably be ok if your confident in you ability to fly the t28 and you start out with low rates, but remember that it will be much faster and only need a little bit above half throttle to fly and doesn't glide very well. Also when landing you need to hold a little bit of power and fly it to the ground.

Unfortunatly the UMX Beast was discontinued, so they are getting hard to find

The Champ is generally considered a better flier and more durable.

Also, it's pretty easy to fly with the stock RTF TX ... I'd recommend saving up for a DX6i (or better) and learn your basic flying with the stock TX
