Hey Seginho, it is better when you clarify from the beginning what you need and why otherwise people just dont bother in going and meassuring things

OK my extensions are about 45cms long, the Carbon fiber tube is 4mm diametre and 35cm long, you can also buy it on R2Hobbies at good price. In fact I never buy extensions, I buy the cable and then solder in between the servo cable is cheaper and you do not have to worrie that the extension will pull off.

Me too! Now I even make the plugs since you can buy the plug kits cheaply. Beats soldering 6 times!

I finished the wings yesterday and it took me only two hours two assemble them.

I tried to use the original spinner but found out that the folding props don't match. I will order the new spinner. Left is Graupner and right is chinese folding prop.

Glued the 2mm carbon rod into the canopy.

Looking better all the time, pisaneli. Looks like you'll be flying it soon.

You probably already know it but Graupner does make blades that will fit that hub - 6mm. You can see them here but I'm sure you probably have a better source closer to where you live.

I don't use any lead, and the CG is perfect for me. I balance it just behind the wing joiner.
Straight up, what is the distance in mm from the LE to the CG?. I am just finishing a Xmas build kit and I am interested in your CG as it seems to work for you.

A little update.I glued in the fuselage blind nuts for fixing the wing. I had to cut out bigger hole to easily adjust and glue the nuts. I am looking for a maiden this weekend if everything works out as planned.

Passer Servo Tray

Hi Passer Fans!

I've got mine also before Xmas. Now I have found time to assemble it.
There were interesting solutions for the tail servo placements.
Here is mine:

It's made of 4mm ply, I can let cables run under it to my RX.

Regards

Peter

My Passer is finished. Today I will maiden it. Weight is 650g with Rhino 1250 mAh 3s. I tried to fit in 1600 mAh but had problems with CG. It is too heavy. I balanced it on 66mm from the leading edge.

I made servo cable extensions for ailerons.

I put Rx into shrink tube to easily mount it under the wing.

In front the battery is all the way back with Esc.

Hi Pisaneli,

nice work, grats. Hopefully I've got also maiden today. I've got the same receiver. Did you let the aerials out of the fuse?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Gregg,

Sorry for delayed response. I just had to get my Passer assembled and do the CG check (accurately, using a proper balancer rather than my fingers). My Passer balances almost spot-on 70mm behind the LE. I've attached a pic to show the layout of the gear too. V-tail works but the rudder is not all that powerful - I typically only use it during the vertical climbs under power.

Hi Peter!

I made holes on both sides of the fuselage and let the aerials out.

I successfully maiden my Passer today. Luckily we're having unusal warm weather for this time of the year. Temperature hit almost 15 deegres. Anyway maiden was a success. First throw without motor and then full throtle. The Passer goes almost vertical. A few clicks on the elevator trim and I am flying straight. The plane has no bad habits and is very responsive.
Rudder has enough authority to make circles in a thermal and even some mild aerobatics. When using spoilers for landing I had to compensate small amount of down elevator. It is very sensitive.
Can't wait to hit the slope. I'll upload pictures in the evening and if I'll have time even a video.

Hi,
I also did the maiden flight, without any problems. We had also 10+ celsius.
Good plane, I also had to trim only the elevator.
My AUW is 628g...
