New Great Planes indoor Yak 54 ?

Checked out Efest on the webcast and it was mentioned that Jason Noll was flying what I assume to be an upcoming Yak54 indoor foamie from Great Planes . Did anyone get any pictures of it , or any details ?

Be nice to see the other "major" put out some good indoor foamies.

Actually there was a new Great Planes Yak at E fest. It looked and flew great, but I didn't get any details on it.

Jason was flying a new prototype Yak 54 from Electrifly.
This was the model he had streamers attached to.
One can be seen here....Jason D. is picking it up.

The Yak 54 I is flying is a new offering from GP / Electrifly. It's a true depron Yak 54 with a nice scheme. It's definitely a VERY far cry from a Flat-out! My weight is 5 oz with a few easy slight mods and 6 oz after the releasable streamer installation. More to come soon I'm sure.

I still love my Fancy Foam Yak 55, definitely two different, fun airplanes.

Looks pretty nice. I like the proto paint scheme. Any idea on the release?

I would assume with this being a proto model the release might be quite a ways out.

Thanks

There were several of these at the event. Looks like a very capable model.

the new yak

I watched this plane with the diffrent pilots flying, all I can say is I can hardly stand the waiting! imo this was the hottest plane at the entire event and the plane you gotta have! When they release I plan on buying three!

Lots of wing area. Fuse profile looks like A Bling Bling , which is not a bad thing. Nice to see GP moving past the ill-fated Flatout saga.

Great to see GP did away with those hinges from the flatouts and just went with normal blenderm type tape hinges.
