Thunder Tiger E620 SE Build Thread ** build is done and pics:D

Hey everyone,

I was very lucky to get a Thunder Tiger E620SE kit. I noticed there was no kind of E620SE thread in Rcgroups so if I may, I'd like to do a build thread of one. Once i recieve the heli, I will build it and snap pictures on the way of the build. I can't wait! I will post setup when i receive the actual heli.

It's HERE!!!!!

Attached are the pictures of the "opening of the box"

Glad to see another E620 fan. I have been working on converting a nitro powered Raptor 50 to a E620. This will be my second E620 and I plan on using all the latest technology advances (Spartan Gyro, Futaba brushless servos).

Looking forward to reading your build log.

A foot of snow … thunderstorms … melted snow … high winds … more snow tonight.

My goal is to get it built, setup, and a few short test flights by mid March when the weather usually gets better. The E620 can handle winds very well – this time of year it’s more of a pilot limitation than a helicopter limitation.

Looking forward to it, as a great all round platform that is durable and robust the E raptors are it. Maybe not quite as light as some but for many they do very very well at the right price.

Waiting for pics (i am surprised that none of us did a thread when they came out )

hehe Nice. I'm looking forward to it It'll be a slow build for me cus I need to save up and buy the electronics piece by piece:'( LOL. So far, i have the heli kit, and the CF blades and a few "upgrades". I read and heard about some of the fly apart tail hubs so one of the reccomended upgrades 1st to get was the

THUNDER TIGER SUS TAIL HUB I got mine from Grand RC as well as a few other parts i got from them.

I'll do a "finless" type of thing but with pics Opening the box, etc. HEHE.

Feel free to post pics and setups and vids of your E620's I sorta like how my King2 thread is running and hoping this can be a lesurly thread but with control too

I posted some of the pictures I took of me opening the box. My 600mm Carbon fiber main blades should be here tomorrow waiting at the door for me when i come home from school Tomorrow is friday that means THE BUILD STARTS!!!!

Also, what kinda loctite you guys would recommend for a 50 sized electric? I've always just used purple, is that enough or would blue be the way to go?

I plan on going A123 or 12S Lipo. A 15S A123 would be around 160-170 for me building it and getting allt he connectors and wires for it. A lipo 12S pack is around 400 dollars or more.
