Is anyone interested in getting together regularly on Thursday afternoons for some slope combat. I'm allowed out on Thursday nights and usually bring a plane or two to work for some fun after a day at the office.

I was thinking Eastern suburbs so probably Marks Park or somewhere similar, though we should be a bit flexible with this. Most people knock off anytime after 4 o'clock so we could post a venue on here during the day, depending on prevailing conditions, then people just turn up when they can.

Flying is great fun, flying with others is even better, but trying to knock each other out of the sky is awesome!

Get your foamy wings in order and let me know what you all think.

I think we should by some RC submarines and combat them! Bloody rain.

Anyway looks like we have a few starters this week (Zipper we'll let you off this once). Pass the word around to see if we can find some more.

I guess on Weds or even Thurs we'll make a decision as to venue.

whats good for a 20-30knot straight S? Thinking Otford if it looks like swinging around, or Woolaware Rd = perfect for Sw-S

Any other suggestions for a South/South West direction?

Of course that is if all of the slopes in Sydney haven't been WASHED AWAY!!!

Is everyone going to check in here tomorrow?

The small concrete slope at the end of the La Pa loop road in front of the metal railing is great on a SW. Best for small slopers though.

Would like to get involved with this slope stuff, let me know if you guys are going and i will come and sus it out. I am pretty keen to try something new.

Well guys it's currently pi##ing down and looking at the radar it's going to be on and off for the rest of tonight at least.

I think we'll pull the plug on it tonight. Keep checking back as we will aim to get this happening again next thursday.

Guess I'll have to go to HStore tonight and spend some cash to console myself.
