need or need .. it sure could come in handy.
and the accuracy that the ducts have indicate that both yours and mine are exact same size.

Air Sally & Clausxpf,

How were you guys able to get the ribs off of the station point view. I have the 3-views scaled to 10", 12", 14", and 16" WS. I think I can make a go with the 3-views, but it wouldn't hurt to have a couple of more strategically placed ribs. Planning for 30mm and smaller DF units.

This second version of Draken is relying on the inside and the outside fiberglass cout for strength.(stressed skin construction) do there is no need for ribs.
the extended canopy cut out gives all the room for batteries placement from the top.
the only bottome opening is aft for the placement of the fan and servoes.
Claus.

Clausxpf,

I was actually looking at trying to go with the first version building style. I was going to go with 3mm for ribs/main frame and 2mm skin. I wish I had the wire cutting skills that you have though. That Draken your working on is tooooooo sweet.

I cut i open aft to install ducts and fan.
It looks like i have to make one more opening for servicing the fan and the ESC.
but the ducts just slidede in without problem at all.

the best thing to me is that you air sally can make a duct that i can fit in just by the exchange of drawings. That is craftman ship among modellers.

to finish the top i had to dig out for the canopy, and at the same time cut the plug master.
it is not hard only a lot of sanding..
