Slow Stick, Snow, Mountains and Mozart

A sunny day and snow-capped mountains in the background with music by Mozart - it was a great day for ski touch-and-gos - lots of them! This is how we stay sane during the Winter while pining for Spring!

What a beautiful day and lovely setting! Nice video with appropriately paced music. I guess you can call it a "Snow" Stick. Looks like fun!

Nice video. Looks like fun. You have to wonder though what people think that didn't have the advantage of seeing the plane flying and happen across those trippy looking tracks all over the snow.

What a pleasure to watch a Slow Stick fly SLOW !!!!!

I see so many of these things built like tanks, that it's a rarity to be able to watch one fly like the light and graceful flying planes they are...

Good job, and a great choice of music!

i have 4 of these things, amoung some other 10 other planes. the slow stick, is still my favorite. they all 4 have different motor configs. i have put them on pontoons, but very difficult to keeo them dry. once they take the smallest "drink" the batt & esc are shot.

We had an extra landing gear wire and forward wing mount from a previous SS which we trimed to fit under the wing. Then we just slipped the GWS floats on to the two SS landing gear wires. Matt had to make new crossbars for the floats that were wider than the original to fit the SS landing gear wider stance. Jon
