Hats-off to the pilot.

Just showcases what joy this hobby of ours can bring.

Loved it.

Steve posted this on Facebook this morning.

"Bron's very ill and back in Hospital . Spent all day there yesterday and she didn't seem to pick-up much at all. They moved her from Camden to Campbelltown Hospital at 6 pm last night hopefully they got her on to some antibiotics. Have to wait til 10 this morning to go see her as Shell's at work and I'm home with May ."

I hope and pray that her pain is not too great and she gets to have more time at home.

Steve needs as much support as we can organise through this time.

My problems are trivial compared to Bron's.

Cancer is such an incidious disease.

Certainly is gouch. I know all too well the turmoil a family goes through because of it.

Humphrey. Send my best wishes and thoughts to Steve, his wife and their family.

I think Hobbyking are now carrying all the RCRCM planes. They probably changed the names because of the rather bad rep that RCRCM have gotten for quality etc.

By the way Lads - I have to come to Oz for a couple of weeks in the Vic (Melbourne) and NSW (Sydney) areas.

Going to have at least 2 weekends too...any chance one of you crazy slopers could rescue me from a hotel weekend? I'd love to have a fly with you.

Cheers,

James.

Give us some more details of when you're in Melbourne, and I'd be glad to take you sloping/FPVing/DSing depending on the weather.

Oh yeah - I'm one of the few who fly mode 2 Downunder ....

Cheers

Visitong pilots always welcome Doc. When you have some dates I'm sure we can arrange something. And if there's no mode 2 available then we can set up the left stick as aileron elevator with a little creative mixing.

er... Do you need to do any mixing at all?

Couldn't you just put the elevator servo lead into the throttle channel, and leave the aileron where it is? That should work well enough for bank and yank - but you'd still have the ratchet on the right stick... (??)

Oh yeh... forgot about that - you can do it on a JR too.

Still got the problem with the ratchet being on the wrong side (unless you open the box and move it to the other stick...)

Don't you have to undo and tighten some screws as well? Ratchet for throttle?
