10 or 15mins north of Caloundra you'll find Point Cartwright. A really nice slope for SE winds. Bewteen these two sites is Alexandra Headland. It works in a NE, a good site too but not as good as the others I've mentioned. Closer to Brisbane is Shorncliffe, works in NE-SE (I think, I haven't flown there for a bit now). It's about the only site close to Brisbane that I know of. Other than that there are a few sites around Maleny and Mt Mee but they're mostly private land so you need permission to fly from most of them.
