Speaking of overpowering ... I once had an Algebra 100 glider (Mick Reeves kit). Got bored flying it off a bungee, so put an OS 10 on the nose. Next came a properly cowled OS 25 FSR (and a taildragger u/c). Then an OS 35 FP. Finally an OS 40H P (an old pylon motor)! I still have some excellent aerial pictures of Hanworth, the A316, the old airport buildings on the Air Park (before they were demolished) etc. taken with a camera pod hung on the side of this model.
That 100" wing sure used to flap when doing aerobatics ... it did eventually fold, I'd damaged it flying in a limbo comp (!) and it broke at the repair.
