Pilot parking at AEF 2008

All pilots we will be given a parking pass in your registration pack at the event but the county is charging every vehicle $1.00 entry fee. Club usually charges $5.00 for spectators now that fee is $6.00.
Pilots are $1.00 even the CD has to pay. When you show up the first day tell them you are a pilot coming to the event. You only need to pay the $1.00.
After you unload your car move it over to the marked pilot parking area. If you have a trailer we will have an area set up them also.

Bob, is that a $1 a day? What if we have to leave and come back?

$1.00 a day not per entry. Come and go as you need during the day. Only pay the $1.00 once.

I've got a suggestion for parking for pilots, don't know if it's too much hassle or workable: reserve the first five or six slots in each parking row for pilots, so if they need to go back to their vehicle for something it's not a 30 minute walk! I may be charging my big packs at my vehicle this year (guess I need to get a deep cycle battery), last year I think we were tripping the breaker when we were charging a couple of packs at 5 amps each. Having the trip to the vehicle a bit shorter shure would make things easier. Getting there early would help I suppose...
