Ive been thinking about getting that for my next heli. It looks like a pretty good buy from the pictures. Does the swash , head, and tail drive look like decent quality? I kinda like the way the frame is made for direct to swash servo mounting. How about some pics?

The quality really depends on what you are comparing it to. The Head/Bearings are a little cheap feeling. For $100 though, its pretty good. Needs some tweaking. Mine had some screwed up parts out of the box (Blades, Flybar and tail). With a little fixing, I took care of all the problems. I hope to finish my build tomorrow. I will post some picks then.

My setup is gonna be:

EXI 450
DX7
AR6100
x3 HS-65HB
Align 430L Motor
Align 35G ESC
GY401/HS-65HB(aint the best I know)
Align 325 Pro Blades
FP 3s 2170 Lipo

I can't wait!

Would say he thinks it so.

You do not have to spend a fortune on to have a nice, reliable, and steady flying heli. It CAN be done on a budget.

To day I came up with a new club. The "Budget Heli" Club. stutts, welcome to the club. We will show all of them that we can do it just as good as them, but at half the cost .

Can i be a charter member, all of my helis ( 10 ) are budget birds. About half were built or rebuilt out of the junk box. Ive read horror stories about the cheap (Esky, Walkera) electronics, but ive had good service and performance out of mine. They are at least as good if not better than the top of the line electronics i had 30 years ago that were 4-5 times the price. Maybe one day ill get professional gear, but right now im having more fun than is probably legal with this junk. LOL

Stutts, I might by one this summer as my "trainer". I already have a budget bird flying.

- Align AL frame ( Thanks Blusaber ) before this I was flying with a modified XL frame.
RCT Phantom CCPM Mod Flight Test (6 min 33 sec)

- CopterX Head (bought off ebay for $40)
- Align CNC Tail (bought off ebay for $35)
- HXT 9g servos all around ($4 each)
- Esky 3800kv (moved over from my HBK2)
- Esky ESC (moved over from my HBK)
- ESKY HH Gyro (moved over from my HBK)

If I was in the market to get another 450 heli, I would definately be getting this airframe.

Welcome to the Club .

You pretty you pretty much just quoted our mission statement.

Oh... and here is a video of my budget bird in it's current form. Can't bet it with a stick.

Nose-in and Slow Circuits (6 min 45 sec)
