Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself at the Montana ALES thread, but I made an update there that folks should know about.
Sorry for taking up space here.

Greetings gentlemen, ladies, and especially Curtis, Chip, Jim, Joe, George,

I understand this forum is primarily dedicated for we who love to slope soar. However, because so many have expanded our flying interests, I feel fairly comfortable conversing about other related types of flying. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!

From the time you kind sirs came to my rescue and skillfully got my Oracle 93 project off the ground and sent me down the road, I have since hooked up the rudder and elevator controls, both wing tips are now joined and lined up with newly expoxied guide pins. I've replaced the flap and aileron control rods with something 'beefier,' installed the receiver, ESC, and battery, and ordered a new folding prop spinner. (And all of that was accomplished on my mom's kitchen counter!!!) All I can see that needs to be finished is a cosmetic paint job to the fiberglass fuse. I'm thinking it would be appreciated if I not do that in the kitchen Lord willing, I'll have it along with me this coming Saturday. I have yet to fully assemble it for weighing purposes, and even if I did, I don't have a decent scale to weigh it with. Perhaps our digital bathroom scale would suffice?
Blessings,

Arlen

Gentlemen (and Ladies?),

Find attached a few pix of the nearly finished Oracle 93. All that's remaining is the balance. According to Fred and Curtis's figuring, it looks like I'll need a little weight in the nose, and she'll be ready to at least hand toss.
Blessings,

Arlen

NICE!

Do my eye's deceive me or is that the proper spinner attached? It looks great, as does the weather for Saturday.

Yuppers

Yes Sir!

The propper spinner came in the mail today, so I'll be able to return the borrowed one to Jim. I just came from the tire shop with some stick on weights and will install the needed amount for balance. Right now the wind is whipping pretty good outside, but as soon as I'm able, I plan on driving over to a local park and do some hand tossing to see how she glides.

PMT, I think you're missing some colors, where is the Red, Purple, Green and Orange to make the complete "Coalition"?
