Nick,

Belive or not, I still could not test my wing . And, as it was a few heavier (137gr) and the CG (135mm from LE) I could not reach, I took of the HXT900 (hextronik 9gr servos) and put the new one that just arrived for me from Hobbycity HXT500 (5GR). The result was a damage to the servoīs place into the wing foam (i will have to fix it...) and the CG is more far away to reach. Obviously Nick, because the servos are lighter and I didnīt think about it before

Now I donīt know what to do

I would have to test it before all of this mess

Hi Mark, I bought my foam cutter ready to use. But there are some foruns teaching how to make your own foam cutter, or if your prefer, you can buy just like me

Itīs a amazing machine, after you learn and wastes a lot of foam to the trash can...

152 Gr wing

Here's my liitle wing, well it's got a 30" ws!

Got a 10 gr. motor from Lazertoys, a CC Thunderbird 6 ESC, gws Rx, Vampower 300Mah 2s Lipo!
I run a 5x3 prop and my longest flight so far is just over 22 min's!

i kinda like it just plain white, forces me to keep it in close!

Nice wing. You should paint it or put some colored clear packing tape. It helps to see in the sky. Did you use the Nickīs plan? Looks different...

Thanks, but I like it white, Every other wing I see has lots of color, ( including my own) so this one stands out for NOT having any!
Not Nick's plan, but close! I used the TLAR method. This wing fly's great, top speed is about 25MPH, or so it looks, and will crawl along at about 3MPH, I can walk fast and pass it! And i can fly it in my front yard, so works for me!

PS.
My other wings are Ritewings, Great wings, but mine are pretty much set up for speed!

Wing is now covered to make it a bit more durable. You can sit it on it's fins and do vertical takeoffs with it

Took this to a fly in last weekend, came away with five requests for them!

Thanks for sharing the plans, I made a slightly larger version (94 cm wingspan) and it is really awesome, very stable and capable of all kinds of aerobatics.

Here is a video of the second flight which ended with a nice crash because of my terrible piloting skills:
First homemade flying wing (2 min 47 sec)

No damage though, this thing is really strong :-)

Pictures and more videos can be found on my blog: http://www.fleurey.com/weblogs/franc...e-aile-volante
