Don, mine arrived as too! I agree it is tiny and will fit great in a very small space. I plan on using it with a small lipo battery so I can easily move it from plane to plane.

Now I can start working on my launches...

Don,
Everybody knows that you fly higher than Freeman...except for Freeman. I guess it's still nice to have a RAM 3

Hey Randy,

For me, I would like to know if there's a web site to find out what they actually can do (read out's and such) and how much they are.

Thanks,

Keith

Here is a link to Randy's website:

http://home.epix.net/~rcbrust/

Cost $99 = $5 shipping.

It comes with software. He has screenshots on the website. My RAM 1 works good, but this will fit in a much smaller fuse and holds a lot more info.

It's not just nice, it's awesome to have a RAM3!!! Mine arrived last night!! Thanks, Randy....

Don, we need to come up with a little RAM-focused competition for our next trip to the field....You, me, and Sean can compete.....any ideas?

Equest, the rumor is that your RCG's account will lock out soon....apparently, only RCG's members who actually fly with their buddies will be allowed to post here....

John.

Don,

If you were beating him bad enough to brag about, you wouldn't need that thang! C'mon, if we're gonna be the JW thermal bullies, you gotta buck up!

JW thermal bullies.....blah! I don't need no RAM3 to tell me I can out-sky you and your boy Don....

Seriously, Jack, I know you've been banging this drum lately, so how about this for a "True" TD contest:

-No skegs allowed
-150 meters to the turnaround
-All or nothing 100 point landing zone
-Landing zone is 5x5 camo blanket that Don is moving around the field while you're trying to land.......I actually have a video of this, by the way.
-25 extra points if you hit Don in his chest protector or helmet, without damaging your airplane.

Your thoughts are appreciated, and expected.

Why not make it interesting and make the "pilot" wear goggles that have a thin layer of vaseline over the lenses . Some police agencies do this when talking to high school kids about drinking and driving while putting them at the wheel of a golf cart.
Could make for some interesting landings.

Why not have postal competitions where competitors up load their RAM3 recorded altimeter files to verify flights?

Does anyone know if there is something like the RAM that writes igc files?

RAM3 at My House

Mine has arrived as well. Very nice, Randy! I love the size and improved memory.

I am attaching a scan of the manual if anyone wants to read more about it.
