Thank Marty! BTW, my pilot is specially trained for this flying, and has been known to fall asleep with boredom when flying other planes. This is one of the most fun profile jets I've ever seen or flown - it is a great design.

BTW Crazy, I just built my second mini F22 airframe "just in case"! What else can you do and have this much fun with $4.00 dollars worth of foam?! Fly on my Brothers, fly on! Marty

The mini F-22 has been very popular. I just got done with the Arizona Electric Festival the past 4 days. Sold several rx-ready planes and all the kits I had, and I have a list of customers waiting for me to get more stock!

nice to see this plane still kicking ass, i was gonna get mine out but its got squashed, grrr ive killed more planes on the ground stood still than in the air. im making a third for sure tho without a doubt. i want a SLIGHTLY larger version, not full size tomhe say 20in for a 2208 2600kv motor its basicly a microjet v2 and it kicks .2212/6 power from a 38g motor on a 5x5 its pulling just a tad over 20 amps(rated 20) on 3s and for half the price as a grayson mjv2.
have you thought about the 2208/mjv2 or v3 for you parkjet series pat as my 1806 seems to run out of steam at 10oz then its BW 3000kv but gonna use this or the v3 2200kv on a 6x4 as they kick butt on 2s and 3s.

I squashed the nose of mine this past weekend, but still fly it. I have more kits on order from the laser cutter, so I'll take one of those and build me a new one.

And no Marty, I was not surprised at all!

This may not be mini f-22 related, but mini will do this design justice. Since most guys here specialize in miniaturization, I just thought maybe someone can do this...

RcSuperhero (3 min 22 sec)

rcsuperhero walk around (1 min 56 sec)

sorry to jump in with a totally irrelevant topic.***

I love that RC Superhero! I've already thought about drawing something similar up in a smaller size, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

A 57" tall pdf is being sold. It's too big & complex for me. A 24" tall quick build style would be sweet.

Yeah, he wants more for the PDF than what I sell kits for!

What is your opinion on the aileron addition to the F-22. I have never flown a pusher so should I stick to the plan when my kit comes this week.

Rick,

On this little one, ailerons are not necessary at all. I have them on my bigger one, and I think it helps with the roll rate, but on the little one it rolls just great without them!

F-22 flying in Norway

The weather did not invite us to fly outside the last few weeks. So, some of us are flying indoor. We have made a small squad of 18 inch, F-22s this winter. Please enjoy:
