Same here. I used a 3s1p 1200mah pack from TrueRc all season and it flew great. Would fly as slow (or as fast) as I wished. Flight times around 15 minutes.

Well Boys, based on your recommendations I may just up the battery pack to what you are using. Can't hurt right? Marty

You were right Martys! The plane flew great!! Just like its big brother. I am also on a 2 cell, which is plenty of power with my set-up inside. When it goes outside I will try a 3 cell.

Here is some video of the maiden, I know alot of flying around in circles, but I did not want to try anything too crazy inside. Watch towards the end, this plane can really slow down with still alot of control. After this video was shot I got it to do some really high alpha slow flying, it is alot of fun!!

Thanks again for the plans!

The maiden

Excellent Maverick!!!! Congrats on the maiden! I loved your video! Boy is it a sweet plane to fly. I can't till we can all fly outside! I expect the planes to go supersonic! BTW, I'm going to build the mini F15 (see the video with Sal C fly his 59% Pocket F15). Here is the website: http://www.parkjets.com/f15-eagle.html Tell me what you Guys think of Sal's pocket F 15. I already downloaded the plans and have started cutting parts out. Marty

i love mine so much, im going to do the larger version, with rudders and a basic full fwd fuse. i think the drooped leading edges, rounded leading edges and all surfaces, and tapered trailing edges contribute to how smooth this thing really flies, i was shocked how smooth it was on high speed runs, for a profile foamie. alot of profiles i have tend to "hunt" up and down in high speed, but not this little, its truly a hoot!

Corsair, do you have an idea on how to make the full fuse version?
