You motor is probably pulsing pretty quickly as you get high in throttle. That's not very good for the batt. I think at minimum you need an 800mah 20C pack, 1000Mah would be even safer. Or I think you could get a higher C rated pack. If you get a battery that can give you 16A+, you will notice a BIG difference in performance! Someone with more knowledge on the subject may be able to shed more light on the subject!
I'm using a Turnigy 500mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack that has a peak discharge of 30c, But if you say I'll get even better performance (which is awesome already) I get a bigger battery which I planed on doing anyway. Thanks for the info.

I am impressed KGD! The F22 is not a trainer. It's a guided missle! The fact that you have achieved the success you've gained so far is a testimate to you and the design! Bravo! PS, this weekend I cut another kit out! Marty

those specs are bang on for 16a draw a 800mah 20c is a minimum a 25c 30c burst would be best tho which can do 20a ez and can cope with 24a bursts

lol i think so, just

flew with me ax 1806N 2350kv on 2s on a 5x3 was not bad not as quick as the 3800kv turnigy but that was expected and will get me watt meter out and test the 5x3 a 5x4 an a 6x5 last 2 are cut down props. and cant wait to try a 3s on it.
ALS i cant find any info on this motor just the 21 and 2500kv versions even the axoan site has no info strange, might be a custom wind for GC but dont know

TGS 6x5 cut to 5.3/8x 5 on 2s 6.8amp 50.32 watts

apc 7x4 cut to 5x4 6.5 amp 48.1 watt on 2s

gws 5x3 on 2s 5.07 amp 37.518watt

max amp for motor is supposed to be 6amp and neither of first 2 made motor warm even after a good run so prolly ok to use and amp draw drops quite quick, could also drop a bit by using proper props as the hubs are big and prolly eat a bit of ampage.
i will polly use a 4x4 or GWS 4.5x4 or the 5x3 depending on amps and could always use the heatsink stick mount if it is getting warm

We both come from North East england, an area which has pretensions to be like Texas is in the USofA
He use a dialect word I know is restricted to a quite small area - raz - which, amongst other things, describes the wild running games of young children.
Donny & Scunny are slang references to our respective towns, decodable only by natives.
