yeah, I've used it w/ a 3s 1300 and had better performance tham w/ the 360. Planning on ordering a 3s 750 or 1050 rhino lipo. I'm trying to keep the weight down.

Its really amazing how well the 18 inch ws version flies in the wind. With Fall decending on us quickly, there are now more windy days then calm.

Usually I just took the F-22 up on relatively calm days, because a larger version we built didn't handle the wind to well. But last week was the first time I decided to try it in high winds. It cut right though the air with the 2900KV motor. If I dropped the throttle way down to almost nothing I was able to "hover land" the F-22 in place. Cool.

that is my favorite thing to do with this plane, point it into a breeez and pull it into a hover. ive spent many packs just hovering around. its also fun to be in the middle of a hover, and wait for a plane to come by, then jam the throttle and take off after the passing plane.

Adam,

I need to get my hands on some 3mm from Jim so I can do one too. It will be the "mini-me" to my tomhe bird. And I can even fly it inside with yours at the next EFExpo!
