Any plans available yet on SR71? I would LOVE to build one! I just happen to have a motor just waiting for a home. Marty

My prop

Boys I use a 5X3 prop on mine. Only had to notch the body a little. Didn't affect the airframe at all. It's got plenty of thrust. Marty

Plans

Thanks Adam! I can assure you there will be several members in the club (South Jersey Silent Flyers) anxious to build and fly her. It seems like these pusher jet designs are catching on like wildfire! I will post pics and a flight report for you of the build if you would like. Boy, I can't wait! Marty

On the 10 gram hobbycity motor with turnigy 10 amp esc..and 3s 610mah 20c should the motor and esc be getting hot?

Motor

Come to think of it Boys, I think I will opt for the 19 Gram motor since the SR71 looks like it'll be larger. As far as planes, the Mig 15 and the F86 Sabre jet are 2 of my favorites. Marty

It actualy is quite a bit larger, i beleive its going to be to large for this power combo, had to tell when drawing it. so i may have to shrink it down.

there are already some decent designs out there for the mig and saber, i wanna stick with newer jets. i think i may do a mirage 2000

oops meant 19 gram..thats the one I have. GWS 4.5x3 prop and everything gets hot..is that overkill on the prop. (Battery is Rhino (Zippy) 610Mah 3s 20c) ESC is Turnagy 10 Amp.
