I am currently flying it with a 5x3 prop, and a 2 cell 620 pack, im going to try a 3 cell soon.

My AUW is 5.5 oz

This plane flys great slow or fast.

I have added the plans in .pdf, Tiled, and Full.
I guess your 5.5 AUW is 2 cell My lightest 3 cell is 99g or 3.5oz its a 1500 25c
lighter than most 1500 I may have to invest in a 1000mah 3 cell I have a micro plane 18"X20"ws still building but AUW is double your plane 10.25oz Im trying to use the electronnics I have servos 3X5g receiver orange RX no case-2.6g
now here is the weight esc 24g motor prop and M mount 65g I guess my question is do you think it will fly at that weight 10.25oz Thanks

His AUW was using a 3S 500mAh lipo, 2 5-gr servos, a 19-gr motor, and 6-gr ESC.

These days I'm using the same setup except the lipo is a 3S 805mAh, and my AUW is 6.5oz.

What motor/prop are you using on your build, and what plane is it?

Mine weighed exactly 5 oz with a 450mAh 3S. I usually fly an 800, now, so it's a bit heavier.

Well, this one at 18.8" WS is actually a reduced-sized version (about 66%) of this one at 28" WS:

I think there may be a plan at 200% on that thread, which may be what you're looking for (that would be 300% of this one). As far as foam, I'd do either 6mm depron and double it up in some spots, or see if you can get hold of some 9mm depron. You can order 9mm depron from RCFoam here:

Also, I see you're in Hampton. Did you go to Electrics Over Tidewater a few weeks ago? A guy named Perry won one of my Su-30 kits, and just also ordered one of the F-22s.

If you're gonna make it over six feet (?!!) you'll definitely have to go a bit thicker on the material and maybe add some CF reinforcement.

Ha ha, how funny! I had no idea this was you.

Funny, I just tried checking your tracking number, and the USPS website seems to be having issues. I would have thought it would have been there yesterday. If it doesn't show up today, let me know and I will have a trace done.

Evalith8,

You're going to really enjoy flying the F-22. With your 3D skills, I'd go with rudders to take full advantage of this airframe. Definitely, if you're going to do one at 200%-300% larger. The one you're getting from Pat, has a 2.5" larger WS, than the one you saw fly at EOT. That was my scaled down version. If you need a specific size WS, let me know. I can scale up the pdf and tile if need be. Also, as Pat said, RCFoam is the place to go to order foam. Shipped right to your front door. Let me know if you need a hand.
