So, just to see how big this problem may be, here are our "Registered" Nirvana Numbers:
# 57 - B Good
# 80 - CU BYE
# 86 - Pumpkin
# 87 - Gum Drop
# 89 - Name Pending
# 93 - " "

Are there other duplications out there??? We can only Hope that the new Class secretary will have the 'old' records or an idea how to fix the registration problem. However, I doubt I can convince all our informal group to join AMYA to get a registered #.

Just received my sail numbers from Steve Lang, the accompanying instruction included the below. If duplicate number are present use a piece of tape add the number "1" in front of the numbers temporarily. www.sailrc.com/sailrcnirvana/Numbering.html

It is not a requirement to be a member of AMYA to register Nirvana's and receive sail numbers. To participate in AMYA events yes.

Seems Steve Lang [SailRC] is still acting as Class Secretary

AMYA has Rodney Leathers listed as the class secretary...maybe Steve was just helping out?

Am just passing it on, Steve said he has become the US distributor of a couple of class boats, including the Nirvana, he is looking again. Asked me if I was interested (probably in passing). Since I don't know port from a bottle of wine, I declined.

A replacement Class Secretary.. Now I'm off to open a two week old bottle of port.

Oh, my sail numbers were 62 & 65, hull numbers 762, 765, wonder if that means over 765 have been registered?

Sweet sailing Ya'll

I just got mine, right between yours: 63 sail number and 763 hull number. So it sounds like he's counted up from 1.

Hope I didn't start anything "negative", I think I'll just say if I did then my apologies to all parties. Maybe it concerned the issuance of sail numbers only? I'll definitely restrict any future comments to Nirvana operational suggestions.

Does this happen during sailing. One of the sail "sheets" climbs above the servo roller during servo travel?

I don't recall having that happen before, but if you reduce the angle the sheets have to take leaving the electronics compartment it may help. Drill a new hole for them to exit a little aft of where it is now....then seal the old hole....don't make the hole too big or water will intrude....
