Like I've said I don'thave a Nirvana so I can't vote for CS. But I'm glade to see that all of you are finally getting together to get a CS that you can be happy with. I'm not sure how it came about that two different CS was declared, one by the manfacture and another by the AMYA. It's time to correct that and get one that wants to advance the class and run contest.
In fact I didn't even know that there was a Nirvana untill I joined this site, so that doesn't sound like the AMYA CS was working to advance the boat.
Just my 2 cents worth and anyone can take anyway that they want to. We have been members of the AMYA since we started sailing in 1998, both our ODOMs and the T37x are registered with their CS.

2 different CS were never declared..its a manufacturers class. and in the international rules, the manufacturer names the CS. period..

There was no problem with this till the amya decided it could regulate a class that it cannot..it cannot give itself authority, like its the ruler over all sail boating.

About 3 yrs ago there was no problem, then came leathers.

If the AMYA doesn't recogine a manufacturers class then maybe it's time for a change. This type of policy leaves a lot of sailors and boats with no say in anything. I thought that the AMYA was to support and help the hobby to grow, this type of policy doesn't do that.
As I have said before You may not like sending $7.00 to the present CS to register your Nivrana but you must if you want a vote in the CS election. From what I have read on here the are several members that would make great CS and registering your boat is the only way to bring about a change if it is needed.

...he's just trolling again and showing his ignorance. Had he read a few pages back he would know that Mr. Leathers no longer gets a free ride....
