Yeah, you gotta take the thin area out..but, re-enforce behind the patch if you have no mat and resin..trouble with epoxy is that in really never hardens, and it dont like paint much..use a adhesion promotoe before priming if you dont want surprises later, Dave..

Mix LOTS of balloons with the mix..2 to 1, at least, for the strength..

Tower hobbies uses something called ups mail innovations for small stuff..ups takes it to the local post office, then they deliver it..

I am about 100 miles from them, by ups, or, straight mail, next day, or day after I get it..

this new silliness they are using takes 8, yeah, 8 days..

I am waiting for a micro servo for this boat, getting tired of it now..

You think that is bad, try living on an island in the middle of nowhere.

To be such a huge shipping port, it is da*& expensive to ship anything here and takes forever. I am still waiting on a package from the states. The 1st one arrived last week. 2nd was shipped same day and still has not arrived.

Thanks for the heads up.

I will do some searching on the web and see if I can find something. I have the fiberglass and epoxy with me.

On the larger spot, would the bondo glazing compound work you think?

My only concern is it reacting and rewetting the white again. I will feather out further back before applying it tonight and see what happens. Can't get much worse! LOL

Thanks again.

use the glaze to even out the low spot, make a sanding block..when ever you do a repair, you gotta block sand it, or, it'll be seen, Dave..

Is that a clear jib or no jib?
Can't see it.

You're right, it's still heeled over pretty good.

Shouldn't the jib be smaller too (if it is a clear job).

Yeah it's a clear jib..... ill paint it once I get the shape right....... yeah..... traditionally you would have both a smaller main and jib. But ive been having a problem with balance so I thought I would give it a try with the big head sail....... as you can seen I was still over powered a lot but the balance was perfect..... up in the puffs and down in the lulls..... so I still have some work to do....... but it looks promising!
Keep a look out we are goin to have a Friday night series under the spot lights! Should be fun

Finished the mini jet, whatta pain..everything to small..

But, it IS super quick, no big top end, but the acceleration is staggering

Without a dual rate radio, steering would be impossible..lol..

Now, to try and finish the decal package, dunno what I'm doing yet.

Totally cool! Might need another gauge panel for the navigator's side to fill up that area of the dash. Can't wait to see some video! Another one of a kind creation!!

Nirvana's are one of the better boats for Salt water sailing. Very little chance of any water getting inside, and there is not much on board to corrode!

"Hose her down, and put 'er away wet" or words to that affect.
