No,

Sorry boys....

My DX6i is reserved for my helicopters.

The Spektrum DX6i is an oversized radio; therefore, I won't operate it without a neck strap or sitting down/ resting on my knee.
Even with two measly channels, when sailing, a neck strap can provide relief for any sore thumbs. 6 channels - and it becomes imperative:

Sorry, I don't get it? What's the issue? I sit down in my golf cart when I sail, once in a while I'll use a neck strap. My thumbs don't get sore, what are you doing to make your thumbs so sore? On second thought, I don't want to know. TMI!

I suggest and having one or two good strong adult beverages will work better for your thumbs then a neck strap!

I'm a thumb controller, so you just reminded me, I want to shorten the gimbals on my DX6i, because after about 3 hours or more (sometimes 5 or 6), my thumbs start to ache from all that stretching.
Should be a simple mod though, I think they are adjustable.

Anyway, very innovative mod.
The collective brainpower on this forum never ceases to amaze me.
lilleyen mentioned aching thumbs.

Not to be confused with dumb thumbs...

Wow, did you miss the point! Sailing as in on water not flying as in the air - that's what I was making reference to.

With all due respect, you may be taking yourself a bit to seriously.

I don't think any one has suggested an adult beverage before or during a flight. Sailing - different deal totally. Hot boats, not so much, more like flying.

Sailing and a few libations can add to the enjoyment. Please don't get your panties in knot, no one is suggesting doing anything to access. If you don't enjoy a libation from time to time, that is great, and is your call.

I think if you read through this thread you'd find that attitudes are unnecessary and not welcome and that having fun and sharing good humor are always welcome.

In my message I said I didn't understand your message - did it in humor and so noted it with the "smiles" and you responded by quoting from the AMA?
What's up with that?

Take her easy there Amigo.
