Wattage Mirage 2000-5

Have built this one and done a lot of work to get it looking O.K. Maybe I missed something in the English instruction set about routing the Rx aerial....can't find any reference to it. As a beginner to pusher types, what would you guys reccommend i do ?

cheers

Ray

Hi Ray

My mate has his run along the leading edge of the starboard wing secured with a bit of Scotch Magic Tape - that keeps it out of the way of the prop.

Cheers

Thats where I put mine, just run it along the wing so it doesn't hit the prop or control surfaces...........chris

Ray,

Sometimes self-evident questions still need to be answered. Good luck with the mirage. It looks like a cool plane. Definetly be particular with your C.G.!

Hi Ray,
This is a tricky subject. Some people on other threads stuck their antennas on the underside of the wing in a snake-like fashion. I used some wire to thread mine through the core of the wing. There was still about 18 inches (45cm) trailing in the wind which was fine until I stalled doing a loop and it got wrapped around the prop!! Now I've pulled some back into the fuselage so it doesn't reach the prop.
