AMA New Park Pilot Program......................

I noticed in the January issue of Model Aviation that AMA has started a Park Pilot Program. So us Park flyers and fly in Parks as well as open land and not have to buy into te full AMA program, but still have $500,000.00 of liability insurance. The annual dues are $29.95. If interested go to www.parkflyers.org.

Make sure you're totally legal to collect insurance! That's why I don't fly at a club!

Just remember its not a license to fly anywhere!
Check with your local municipality, town, city, whatever to make sure its legal to fly an R/C aircraft on public land, don't mess it up for the responsible flyers out there who fly at a designated field or with a club

Program is supposed to be released at the AMA Convention, still a few days away. Guess they don't want to spoil the surprise.
