Bonedoc,

this may sound to simple for you, or it may not film well, but could you make a vid with overlay of rolling circles please? i just can't mentally get my mind to visualize what is needed to maintain the roll/circle and when to input rudder and when to take it out.

thanks in advance if you ever have time to,

Bob

Oooo, a rolling loop too! Those are the two I need lots of help with.

And please use a different plane. Perhaps a Non-3DHS plane altogether so it's not so easy. I am sure you could make any plane look good... but really, 3DHS planes are cheating. We need to see you struggle a little bit.

Thanks for the vids!
Andy

A rolling loops requires you to be able to do a full Rolling circle, over and over and over, I have a Profile plane I can pull off a rolling loop with, it looks cool when I can do it. it takes lots of practice, practice and practice, did i say practice? Over and over and over, just like anything else. do it with a plane thats god plenty of control. I have not tried it with my fathers 3DHS extra 300 never thought about it while flying it.

Guys,
Thanks so much for doing this thread!! I'm new to 3D as well, and I'm training myself on the sim, (G3). As I get comfortable on the sim, I take my lil Fliton 260 mini out to the field and try new maneuvers.

So far I can do inverted flight, inside & outside loops, Lomcevaks, and KE's, but that's about it for now.
Last Friday I got about as low inverted at full throttle as I care to. The vertical tail tip was 5" off the ground. Talk about "touching cotton"!!!

For the longest time I had no interest in 3D, but once ya try, you're hooked!!!

I've had a look at quite a lot of video's and haven't found any with mode 1 radio overlays. Has anyone come across any?

Thanks

Hi Mr Kamikaze, check out my 3D How to and there you can see the video of how to do the knife edge spin, not sure if thats the one you were asking? if not, in the future i'm planning to add the knife edge to snap roll to knife edge one.
