Question
Hobby Lobby F 18 balance?

Can anyone tell me where the correct balance point is at on this jet? I got one for christmas and when I balance it at the point it states in the instruction manual it is extremely nose heavy. I used all the stock equipment that came with the ARF version.
Thanks
JC

1300 MHA you use the battery?
Then the tail wing of the Shang Chi can be used for remote adjustment.
In the design, we already know, but, as it could have been added at the end of the flight stability and speed performance.

Yes I am using the stock 1300 battery that came with the kit. I added about an ounce of weight to the rear and now it balances just a little nose heavy. Hoping to try it out this weekend but with winds about 30+ mph dont think that will happen. Just want to be reasonably sure it will fly halfway decent on it's maiden flight.

I flew mine with the stock battery and a 1800 mah and a pilot, I never added any tail weight and it flew great. I think this model has the widest range of CG placement out of any of my other jets (about 8 now lol).

Did you fly yours with the stock 1300 mah battery? And did your jet balance properly at the 580mm back from the nose tip as is recommended in the instructions? Thanks for any helpful info. Hoping to fly mine tomorrow and dont want the first flight to be the last.
Thanks
JC
