I would add also that cheater opening influences the flight in a way that plane always looks tail heavy.
Anyone noticed this?
Angle of canards maybe?

No worries mate, all in good fun.
I'm still waiting for the day when GWS (or someone else) does a Eurofighter in this size. Heard a rumour this might happen soon but am still waiting to see the proto fly. I have a thing for deltas eventhough been bitten several times by their fast roll rate. Must remember to dial in more expo.

RCSuperPowers has a 27.75" span Eurofighter, but it's a pusher instead of EDF. It's not exactly scale looking compared to molded models the GWS, you can put on a fuselage but it's got flat Depron wings. It's got vectored thrust though!

Back to the topic though, this J-10 sure looks cool, but I don't think I'm going to make it my first EDF...

Planes like these do tend to fly with a nose high attitude in the first place. Although the blue one seems to spend more time in a higher alpha than the grey.

Hi EB Friends,

I've just been told that most of EB J-10 NPS + the special gift will be shipped out from GWS China within next 5 hours.

2815-2 Red

Chen or Mr Lin,

Could you confirm the kV of the 2815-2 Red motor? Earlier Mr Lin mentioned 4100kV but I also see mention of 3800kV in the post below. Is there more than one version of this motor? What kV would the production version be?

Jeff

I've been told that the new BL2815-2 (red) could power EDF75 better, generate more thrust but less Amps drawn. All J-10 kits will be with this new motor and the upgraded impeller/rotor.

The video two J-10's were all powered by the motor of the first batch one + 3S 11.1V 25C 2000 mAH Lipo pack. The motor was the same as EB A-4 ones. The EDF rotors were the old orange ones.

Ken, yours was the same from the first batch one, still with red shrunk tube. Their KV value were between 3700 - 3800.

Jeff,

I've checked out the test report on the motors which will be sent as the special gift along with the kits for EB friends. KV value : 3950 - 4100
Thrust : 800 - 900 grams / 28.26 - 31.79 oz.
Amp drawn : 46 - 49A

These motors worked better than what were on EB A-4 ones. But the Amp drawn might not be good news for your budget.

We will ship free replacement rotors to all the EBs who had ordered GWS A4 with old rotors.

Sorry to cause EB's inconvenience.
