Hi Friends,

The MSRP price quoted on the J-10 & A-4 powered version kits with the new BL2815 motor will be raised by US$10.

Single seat J-10 (photo 1) vs. two seat J-10S (photo 2)

Mr Lin, you are making the two seat J-10S only?
Is there a GWS J-10 too?

Got my shipping notice as well. Did not have time to check the status before work this morning.

I'll also comment again on the kits being available to order before the EB kits were sent. I have been assured that the delay was indeed due to GWS reworking the included motor. The EB kits are coming with the more powerful version.

I went to the Convention on Saturday, and they had sold out first thing that morning, so I did not see any there (but they had one on display at the GWS booth). However, I did get an A-4!

Overall I'm still impressed with the level of dedication GWS is showing the EB members. I'm looking forward to receiving my kit and getting it together.

So you guys think old wifey isn't gonna suspect something from that distinctly different screaming whine coming from the nether regions of your workspace even if you do get past the door unhindered?

I have just received my J-10 Kit.

This kit is packed very well. All the foam pieces are in their own section of the box to prevent damage by the small hard components. A nice thick piece of corrugated cardboard separates the foam components from the rest.

The fan unit has comes ready assembled and is complete with a new style heat sink. I have to go grocery shopping now so I will post more later.

P.S. the table shown in the photos is 3 feet in diameter.

The rotor has 4 webs 90 degs apart ,that come half way up the center shaft. the motor has the same red heat shrink as on the A-4 . The A-4 fan sticker listed 588 g s/n 7500256 J-10 sticker lists 850 g s/n 7500704. Haven't put the rotor on the balancer yet .

Well, no. I have about 6-7 edf units laying around all the time which I have not installed into any jets yet. I have 5 boxes of un-built planes. And I just picked up a rather large ARF F5E today with the motors, retracts all installed ready for the receiver. Again how to smuggle this in today and how do I hide it afterwards...

This is also an early bird model from another company.

Sounds like you need another house for your planes.

Mr Lin,

Could you tell us what is the difference, apart from kV, between the previous 2815 RED and this new 2815 RED? What sort of improvements were made?

Thanks.

Jeff
