Thanks Aaron.....
wow, I really screwed up my Radio (7CAP PCM)....the Video looks good, but running it was horrid because all of my switches were way off.....
You used a Y-connector? I used a Y-connector for the Steering Servos? is that what you did.....I'm not use to all these damn switches :-)

.....so let me get this straight, you used the Y-connector to lock and unlock T-diffs?

how did you do that.....?
you used the steering servos for two channels?

there are a total of 7servos on my car.....
5 are stock, and 2 are for pan/tilt for camera.....

can you diagram me what you did ?
I'm very confused......

These switches are killing me.... :-)
what/which one do I use?
should I ditch the Y-connectors on the Two-steering servos
and use it for the T-diffs' ?

p.s.
also, right underneath the Timer, what does "0H49" mean ?

Read your manual. :P

The 0H49 means it's been turned on for 49 minutes since the last time that clock was reset. Most people reset that clock immediately after recharging the battery.

Which control type are you going to use, aaron's or mine? Drive with left stick, or drive with right stick?

rclab, y-connector on steering is fine. Use your T-Lock module (mine didnt work right, hence the y-connector), and put it on channel 6, when you turn the knob to the right it locks both, center it unlocks both, left it locks just the fronts I think.

Use the big switch just left of the power led (channel 7) for your gear shifter. Adjust the end points so that the servo doesnt buzz at the end of the travel.

My setup:
CHANNEL
1) Steering servos on a y-connector
2) ESC, forward and backward
3) No connection (Used radio to copy ch3 > ch5 for tilt operation (PMIX MASTER/SLAVE)
4) Pan Servo
5) Tilt Servo (for compatibility with my airplanes & headtracker)
6) Diff Lock Servos (you will use tlock module)
7) Low/High Speed servo
8/B) 5A external BEC to handle all this servo activity

the t-lock module comes with a summit. it plugs into the lights, and into your differential lock servos. you should have it, if you have a complete summit setup.

a 5a bec can be found at a lot of ebay shops, http://cgi.ebay.ca/5A-U-BEC-UBEC-Inp...#ht_2799wt_732

I donīt use the t-lock module anymore. The 2 difflock-servos are connected with a simple y-connector to the receiver. Switch up: both diffs locked; switch down: both diff open.

Here are the latest picks of my "Wobby-clone":

Setup:

Radio: Spektrum MX16s with 40Mhz
Motor: Neu 1512 with 1100KV
ESC: Kontronic 55-10-32
Battery: 5s1p Fepo (2300 mAh)
Cam: Gopro Hero HD
Video transmission: 800 mW Sunsky
Battery for video transmission: 3s1p Konion (1100 mAH)

Did the first outdoor-test yesterday. Not very happy with the range of the Spektrum (only about 100 meters...).

Great runtime! More than 1 hour with 2300mAh (95% first gear).

Video will follow!

I used to have an overhanging mount for my camera but once I got started moving, there was way too much vibration for it because it was only secured on one end. You may have the front end mounted on something but it could be an issue. It may also be just fine but you'll find out when you get moving on making a video.
Also, to protect your antenna. You could possibly use an SMA connector of some sort that has some cable connected so it will flex in the event of a rollover. I know you can get it from DPCAV but not sure of the exact link. Just a thought because looking at what you have, one rollover and you could mess up your transmitter some.
Everything else looks pretty good.

That requires you to flip one servo around and change the linkage. Its a great way to do it, but for RCLAB1, i think he should use the T-lock module until he gets the hang of things, or requires the dial for something else. Its simpler.

OK, youīre right! I didnīt mention that, because I had to replace the front diff lock servo. I use an fullsize servo for the front diff lock at the place, where the second steering servo was. So I flipped the servo without recognising it. Had luck

Whoa whoa whoa. That's not true on my Summit. I also just Y from one receiver channel to both diffie lock servos. I didn't move any servos. Both servos are oriented properly, so low-channel or high-channel does the same thing to both locks. I just ran downstairs to check this again.

thanks for checking HariEdo....
I'm going to try that Y-connector on both my T-Diffs without moving any servos
around. I like the idea of "on/off" T-diff locking for both front and rear.

:-)

p.s.
so you are using a Y-connector both steering servos also?
