Here's a picture of the sailboat I was using. I think it was a Koyosho one you could pick up for less than $100 at the time.

[QUOTE=typicalaimster]Not as exciting as the RC Car.. But it's a video I did back in 2004. This was done using one of those 1.2ghz camera off Ebay. I sat on shore in my Jeep Wrangler with the top down and watched from the back seat..

Very cool, I like it.

We finally have RPV video. Unfortunalty we didn't get the splitter for the video yet so all the footage is from the Cyclops Navigators perspective
We took tons of footage here is a little sample. By the way those sailboats are giving me ideas about a boat I have lyin around here somewhere,,

you can download the orginal footage and it's clearer on this website,,you tube hacked it up worse than this site but at least it can be downloaded and viewed clearly.

Cool! Instead of air to air FPV. It's ground to ground FPV!

Very cool videos all of you Keep em coming.

year1camaro, is there a spectrum tx on somewhere near your video receiver? Or maybe a mobile phone with bluetooth turned on?

I grabbed the radio from my friends place, we used to strip down LST2's and ebay the parts, so this was just a "spare" we had lying around. It's a 27mhz (dunno why they didnt do 40mhz) JR XS3i.. should do the job!

No the 72 mhz receiver is inside. The 2.4ghz video transmitter is outside the box and away. I turned off the wireless router and there is no bluetooth. There is actually nothing to really interfere close by cause I live in the middle of the woods on 90 acres. It's gotta be coming from my house I'm thinking,,,but I can't find the source..The further away we get from the house the more the lines come in, especially when we get about 500 feet away in the woods...I can't use the radio u suggest,,,right now I have 7 channels used on the truck.

Any suggestions anyone??

That's a pretty cool video. Reminds me of some of the 4 wheeling I used to do out in Az with friends. I have a onroad Tamaya onroad car laying around. I'm almost tempted to dig it out and load it up. The car is originally a drift car. However my drifting skills leaves something to be desired!

Ok here's a test drive in my apartment. Looking at it I might back the camera up some. Plus I might build a camera tower and mount it to the frame. The interference is from the WiFi in and around my apartment!

Oh yeah forgot to mention.. No head tracker, but this is using my 900mhz control system.

OK we found the interference. It was my xbox 360. It puts out 2.4ghz while looking for the wireless controller to possibly turn it on. As soon as we pulled the plug on it the lines went away!!

I put some close calls and nice crawls together with the footage we took already. Rock Crawling suffers with the chains but more snow is coming so on they stay for now. We also found a way to record from both trucks so this weekend should be good recording time. We might be gettin some night footage also, the Cyclops Navigator has night vision.

RPV oops and climbs (3 min 36 sec)

That would be the cat. Needless to say he's not a fan of indoor FPV..
