Sure going to miss you guys

Got my new baby girl and since I'm not about to ruin my chances of ever coming to PHX again, I will probably have to miss this years event.
Don't cry for me AEF.

Wife said it would be "OK" if I went.
But I've heard that tone before.

Sure will miss everybody.

Larry

PS Maybe I should make a reservation just in case she changes her mind

It's a free pilot's raffle, bigger and better than last year.

Well, Buying was not too bad but the shipping took forever.
She's 5 months and is a tall girl ( upper 95% )

It's just killing my buddy George that I'm not going this year.
He's afraid that he might have to take his wife.

I'm going, so anyone that comes will surely get a good laugh. Buy raffle tickets, you will be happy, the prizes are good.

I have been bashing the no camping rule, so, now I have to go, it will give the AZ guys a chance to beat up on me, in person. They need the exercise and excitement.

All in all, if the event is half as good as it was last year, everybody will leave at the end with some pleasant memories.

I agree with both points.. They should be able to beat you up in person.. I may stand next to you I think im a bigger target...

Half as good would still be better than some i have attended.. Starting to get excited....

Just wish some one from the CA Bay Area was driving down so i did not have to ship my planes and batteries.... I would gladly pay the shipping costs to some one local to help with Gas as long as i had the peice of mind the wings would get there..

Easy now Al... no pokin' the coals.. Some of us AZ boys are quite the fighters...

But ya know, this really is an AWESOME event. Fun will be had by all!!!
Pilots/Spectators/No matter, the AZ E-Fest has taken No.1 on my list of "I gotta go to that" event!

Ya flying down renting a car and driving in.. same as last year but i may ship the batteries and carry the wings on the airline.. I had a waking moment after last years event when i plope a battery on the work bench and it started smoking.. It was a shorted pack that could have gone up in the plane this year everything will be shiped and in my lipo sacks.. No more flying with packs..

That's probably the smarter way to go. The event is about 350 miles from us, so we are just driving in. I'm really looking forward to this event! It can't get here soon enough.
