How do you use all that power? What kind of flying do you do? My lipos are admittedly not great but it provides more power that I can actually use.

Yes...aren't these those cells that have this great feature where the pc board acts as a fuse to disconnect your cells if it thinks you overloaded them....

The board goes open circuit if you short out the power leads to each other.

Yeah, my 430L, 13T pinion, 35X ESC, 325 pro woodies tach'd 2950 RPM at 95% throttle and 0 pitch... (with an AirThunder battery... but basically the same). These things put out some serious power.

They are amazing packs, strapped to most 450 setups most people will burn up their motor or ESC before even making these packs break a sweat. The 430L was putting a beating on my 15C packs during peak loads now my only worry is will the combination of my KP 2200's and my CC-45 burn up the poor 430L .. Once your using some good packs it only leaves you hungry for more power, 300 watts was yesterday's news, I'll take a 500 watt motor now, thank you sir..

I can easily hit the limit of my motor now, if your running your Trex with the 430L / X and your using 15C packs, trust me , your not getting all 300watts the motor is capable of producing.

But I have found this little fun fact, the JGF 450TH is much easier on 15C 2100mah packs, even though it's still a 300 watt motor. With a 25C pack I can't tell the difference between the align motor and the JGF motor, my guess is it just has a different power band.. If your not ready to invest in 25C packs like KP's (I really suggest you do though) , and plan on running your 15C packs for a while pickup a 450TH , it will give you same power and will go easier on your lower C packs..

cheers,
Ray
